When we set out to design the Madigan—our flagship Hybrid Camper—we had four non-negotiable criteria: it had to be lightweight, functional, industry-leading, and premium. After three years of research, development, testing (and even scrapping it all to start again), we’re proud to say: mission accomplished.
The Madigan redefines what a premium off-road hybrid camper can be.
Featuring a unique, full hard-body lift design, the Madigan delivers the best of both worlds—over 2 metres of internal standing height in “camp mode,” and a compact travel height of just 2.3 metres. Better yet, the lifting mechanism keeps the interior completely sealed during both raising and lowering phases—so no matter the weather, your bed stays comfortable, warm, and most importantly, dry. With its canvas-free body, you’re always protected from the elements while enjoying the headroom of a full-sized caravan in a compact, go-anywhere hybrid.
Despite its size and capability, the Madigan boasts an impressively low tare weight of just 1600kg. This was made possible by our use of advanced XPS structural foam composite panels, a key element in achieving both strength and significant weight savings. The result? A tough, off-road-ready camper that can be towed with ease, without compromising on durability or comfort.
Step inside and you’ll find a premium interior designed for maximum comfort and usability. A north-south queen bed, dedicated dinette, and 32-inch TV make it perfect for relaxing indoors, while the enclosed toilet and shower offer true self-contained convenience. To top it off, reverse cycle air conditioning comes standard, so you’re always comfortable no matter the weather.
This is a camper built for those who don’t want to compromise.
Every detail has been considered, from Cruisemaster ATX Airbag suspension to the Redarc Alpha 50 charging and power management system, all proudly Australian-made. The Madigan offers serious off-grid capability, with 180L of fresh water on board and a completely gasless setup, including an induction cooktop in the fully equipped rear-facing outdoor kitchen and an electric hot water system.
Power is never a concern, with a standard 400Ah lithium battery system charged by 600W of solar. For those looking to push even further, the system is expandable up to 1200Ah of battery storage and 1245W of solar input.

Chassis
The Madigan’s Fully Off-Road Chassis is made locally from Australian Steel and built to handle whatever is thrown at it. Laser-cut and welded, then hot-dip galvanized for long-term durability, this is a foundation you can rely on. The chassis has undergone extensive FEA (Finite Element Analysis) testing, resulting in a design that withstood forces multiple times tougher than our 2.8 Tonne ATM. From the reinforced 6 Inch drawbar to the integrated Hitch receiver at the rear, the Madigan is engineered to go wherever you do, without compromise. Suspension
The Madigan comes standard with Cruisemaster ATX Level 3 Airbag Suspension, widely regarded as the industry’s gold standard for off-road capability, handling, and comfort. Whether you’re cruising over corrugations or towing through the roughest terrain, this system keeps you in control and your camper stable.
For those wanting to further their control, tech, and adjustability, we offer an optional upgrade to the Cruisemaster BCS (Body Control System). This next-gen airbag management system integrates automatic horizon leveling, return to ride height functions, wireless operation, and dynamic load sensing for effortless levelling and superior towing balance.
Braking is handled by 12-inch electric drum brakes as standard, delivering dependable stopping power across varied terrain. For those seeking even greater performance—particularly in demanding or heavily loaded conditions—an optional upgrade to electric over hydraulic disc brakes is available, offering enhanced responsiveness and control.
To keep your setup seamless, we also offer stud pattern and wheel offset matching to your tow vehicle, ensuring compatibility and confidence wherever you roam.
Construction
Crafted using 29mm XPS structural foam composite panels, the Madigan strikes the perfect balance between low weight, high strength, and outstanding insulation. Our panels offer exceptional thermodynamic performance, keeping you cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold. Our unique lifting hardbody delivers over 2 metres of internal headroom in Camp format while staying completely sealed during transition, ensuring a warm, dry interior regardless of the weather outside.
The Madigan’s body is 100% canvas-free, with one smart exception, our unique, canvas-enclosed internal shower and toilet module. This clever design expands outward from the body to maximise interior space, giving you a private bathroom that’s fully accessible from inside the camper. No need to step outside in the cold, the wet, or the dark, it’s true internal convenience with the footprint of a compact hybrid.

Electrical
Powering your off-grid adventures is a 400Ah lithium battery system, replenished by 600W of solar, all managed through the Redarc Alpha 50 TVMS with full Bluetooth control and monitoring. A 3000W Redarc RS3 inverter comes standard, allowing you to run high-draw appliances effortlessly. The setup is completely gasless, powering everything from your induction cooktop and reverse cycle air conditioning to the electric hot water system. Kitchen
The Madigan features a rear-facing, fully equipped outdoor kitchen with an induction cooktop, deep stainless steel sink, ample bench space, and smart storage. You can choose between a 130L upright Dometic fridge inside the cabin or a fridge slide in the tunnel boot, with multiple fridge options available to suit your travel needs. Whether you’re whipping up breakfast or settling in for dinner under the stars, this kitchen is designed to make cooking simple, fast, and enjoyable.
Internal
Inside the Madigan, you’ll find a beautifully designed space that blends comfort with functionality. A north-south queen bed sits at the head of the cabin, surrounded by overhead storage, a mountain of underbed storage, and a separate underbed tunnel boot for larger camp gear. The dinette offers a cosy space to eat or relax, while a 32” smart TV and reverse cycle air conditioning ensure you’re travelling in comfort year-round.
Thoughtful touches include wireless bedside phone charging, a pass-through hatch to the kitchen for those mornings when you’d rather stay snug in bed (or when you’re ready to hand off the dishes after dinner), and of course, the fully enclosed internal shower and toilet.
