Hitch Campers’ Canning Teardrop Camper gives you the true off-road experience. Built tough and ready to handle all sorts of terrain, this purpose-designed chassis keeps the weight low and looks fantastic while doing it!
Hot Dipped Galvanised Chassis for a strong durable protective coating, the design also incorporates a laser-cut integrated drawbar that is sealed for more protection and durability.
Combine all that with brand new mud terrain tyres, fully articulating off-road hitches, and an independent trailing arm suspension (with optional airbag systems), this camper is more than ready to follow you wherever you go.
BUILT TO BE MOBILE, BUILT TO LAST
Thanks to its featured monocoque and composite construction, this Canning prides itself on having an incredibly low tare weight of 840kg*. Each component is fully chemical bonded to the body and bonded to the chassis.
This world-class construction continues with the joinery as it uses the same high-quality composite materials which are also bonded to the camper making it 100% Timberless construction (in fact, all our campers are) and to make sure that we get things right, all our trailers are fully 3D modelled and engineered prior to all production stages.
The result? An incredibly lightweight structure that’s heavy on performance and durability.

Spacious Interior
The Canning’s spacious interior enables you to enjoy a well-ventilated living space. Stretch out on a full-sized queen bed, get ambient lighting with individual reading lamps and ample natural light with a front window. The ventilation hatch with a built-in fan adds more comfort while the overhead double cupboard gives you more storage.
The Canning’s composite body construction provides insulation properties like no other – keeping you nice and warm in the winter and cool and fresh during the summer.
Cook up a storm
Enjoy a cookout and whip up a feast for yourself or for family and friends with the Canning’s rear mounted kitchen. Fully functional with instant shelter via the rear door, the kitchen includes a permanently mounted stove and a fixed sink with running water (hot option available with the adventure pack) that’s in a L-style layout providing you with room to move along with plenty of overhead storage.
Power and extra space
The Canning features a Power Station where you can find all your electrical components in one space. It’s all consolidated for easy access and use, and the refined finish makes sure that it won’t stick out like a sore thumb – just all the things you need to power up your camper in a manner that’s both stylish and safe.
There’s always room for more with the Canning – store a generator, extra tools, and even a portable potty to take on the road with you.
